Every day more of our built environment is lost to the wrecking ball of indifference, lack of awareness of the importance of our past, and the often mistaken idea that it's more economical to build a new structure rather than restore and reuse on older one.

The Wabash Valley Trust for Historic Preservation believes that our historic buildings must be saved because they are a link to our ancestors and our history. The Trust has been active in the Lafayette area since 1974 and continues its mission of educating the public about the importance of historic preservation.
