The Wabash Valley Trust for Historic Preservation, in partnership with the Tippecanoe Arts Federation, is proud to announce a call for entries for Art of Architecture, an inaugural group exhibition of works inspired by historic architecture in the Greater Lafayette community.
Artists from north central Indiana are invited to submit digital images of two-dimensional works for consideration by members of the Wabash Valley Trust. All visual art mediums are acceptable, including painting, photography, drawing, digital, prints, and collage.
ART OF ARCHITECTURE
Artists are invited to submit images of artworks that have been created as a reaction to or inspired by the historic architecture found in our community. The Wabash Valley Trust has created a list of 40 historic sites and structures in the Greater Lafayette area to serve as inspiration to artists. For more information on these sites & structures, artists can also view our interactive map as well as our online gallery.
Artists wishing to apply should submit an online Exhibition Entry Form no later than 5:00 PM (EST) on September 30, 2019.
Entries will be selected & artists notified by October 15, 2019. The exhibition will be held at the Wells Community Cultural Center (638 North Street) from January 10 to 31, 2020, with a reception to be held January 17, 2010 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Please refer the timeline below:

Members from the Wabash Valley Trust will give a brief overview of historic structures in the Greater Lafayette area and hold an informal Q&A for artists interested in participating in the exhibition.
