Preservation is in our name, and preserving the heritage of our community is in our hearts. It's our passion. We use the sycamore leaf as our logo because it is a symbol of strength and age. As a member of the planet's oldest clan of trees (Platanaceae), sycamores are amongst the largest of Indiana's native trees and can sometimes grow to heights of over 100 feet.
We proudly use the sycamore leaf on the plaques we award. We hope our plaques and their leaves stand as a constant reminder to our community that there is beauty in preserving the past for future Hoosier generations.
